The armchair’s shell, with its trademark enveloping shape, is made of structural polyurethane and polyurethane foam, while the seat cushions are generously padded in goose down. To ensure the greatest level of comfort, the Feel Good Soft version comes with additional padding in the seat back and an extra layer of Dacron and memory foam. The Feel Good armchairs come with a lightweight, uncluttered – swivel or non-swivel – base with metal legs, based on an exclusive Flexform design, that is available in an array of finishes. They also come in a version with swivel or non-swivel wood base and legs in solid wood, available in a number of shades. The Feel Good and Feel Good Soft armchairs can be coordinated with their own ottoman-footstools.

Christophe Pillet’s design philosophy can be summed up in a few eloquent words: “I am not on a quest for the extraordinary, but rather for that which is beautiful and able to kindle emotion in the ordinary”.
This impassioned exploration of the essence of things is also fully developed in the design of the First Steps chair whose lyric simplicity seems to trace back to the archetypal object-chair.
The sinuous structure that rises to form the metal backrest has a painted finish, while the tightly woven seat material is entirely hand-made in either paper cord or paper rush cord.
The same design and materials appear in the bar stool, whose refined appearance translates to undeniable versatility, making it a tasteful and discreet fit in any setting.

Flutz
Inspiration: the precise, elegant movements of figure skating. Form, an oxymoron of materials and thicknesses. Flutz is the perfect union between a rigid, geometric structure and a soft, inviting seat. The second project by Michael Anastassiades for Cassina, Flutz is a chair in two versions, with or without armrests. The armrests are composed of two thin parallel aluminium sheets joined by crosspieces, resting upon them is an invisible plate engineered to stabilize the base and support the seat which, thus, appears to be suspended. The chair without armrests, instead, is available in two versions, one with a low backrest and the other with a high backrest. Upholstered in leather or fabric, the chair ensures sturdy yet comfortable support, thanks to the shell wrapped in soft padding encased in a slipcover made of recycled PET wadding. Through the work carried out by Cassina LAB, with an eye to circularity, the various parts of the chair were designed to be disassembled and recycled at the end of its life cycle. This includes the padding (that can be separated from the slipcover thanks to an internal zipper) and the metal structure with matte finish. Comfortable and elegant, Flutz pairs perfectly with the Ordinal table, also by the Cyprian designer, rounding out his range of dining products.
