The design project for the Echoes family of seating grew out of a mature awareness nourished by different ideas and inspirations. The traditional Scandinavian school meets Mediterranean style; rustic and urban styles cross paths. The design of memory is, in any case, living in the present and projected into the future.
The sleek metal structure contrasts with the pliable seat and backrest made of fine woven paper cord or paper rush cord. This seemingly simple process is actually quite complex and still today performed entirely by hand.
A different stylistic interpretation is expressed by the Echoes S.H. armchair that pairs the metal structure with cowhide: a classic, eye-catching combination but one that, thanks to the ergonomic contours of the seat and backrest, also ensures the utmost in comfort.

EDEN
A daybed marked by clean lines and masterful craftsmanship, enhanced by the use of a handsomely luxurious material like cowhide, singularly able to imbue any object with palpable intrinsic value and impervious to the effects of time and fleeting fashions. The entirely cowhide-clad L-shaped wood seat back supports a substantial polyurethane and Dacron-padded bolster and soft goose-down cushions. The single seat cushion is upholstered in an elegant, easy-to-remove slip cover, enhanced with sophisticated kick pleats at the corners.

EDMOND
As a stand-alone piece or sectional, the Edmond sofa’s hallmark feature is its tubular metal structure that makes a bold statement when viewed from both the front and the back. The generously-padded seat and seat back cushions stand in contrast to the airy lightness of the upholstered structure. The metal structure is available in an array of finishes, chosen to match the upholstery, which can be crafted in all of the fabrics and leathers in the Flexform collection. Edmond is a sofa with a bold yet versatile personality designed to sit well in any type of setting.

“E” as in ergonomics: the enveloping lines and soft padding of the Eliseo family of seating pieces admirably combine form and function and ensure exceptional comfort, as in the best Flexform tradition. The structure is made of rigid polyurethane bonded to molded polyurethane, while the seat cushion is in goose down with insert in crushproof material.
“E” as in evenly balanced proportions, which remain intact in all the versions offered ‒ club armchair, wingback bergère and dining chair.
The incredible versatility of the Eliseo armchair is underscored by the option of having a wood base in a number of finishes, or a cast aluminum base, equipped with 360-degree swivel, that lends the armchair a dynamic air and facilitates interaction with the surrounding space.

Its mythology-inspired name serves to underscore the delicately graceful lines of the Ermione armchair. Understated proportions add to Ermione’s versatility; with a charisma all its own, this is an armchair that can effortlessly enhance the decor in any setting. The enveloping upholstered seat back gains a lighter look thanks to an exquisitely sculpted opening above the seat. The graceful lines and vaguely retro charm of the Ermione armchair are also reflected in its base, made in cast aluminium or in solid wood in an array of sophisticated shades.

Eve
Produced by Cassina in both a metal and wood frame, with the same shape changing its personality, depending on which frame material used, the back and the seat always being leather. The simple geometry of the structure is warmer and closer to nature in the walnut or ashwood, and is thus ideal for the home environment. The chair’s lines become more slender and impactful in the cast aluminium option: here the ideal setting is the office or corporate space. The innovative approach used to assemble the leather sections reveals a clever configuration of cuts and folds that highlight the company’s crafts capabilities. The upholstery is an “envelope” into which slips the frame, no stitching in sight. Meticulous attention has been paid to the chair’s functional aspects, primarily through the use of a thermoformed plastic shell coupled with a thin layer of polyurethane. Meantime, the rounded seat enhances the feeling that Eve is a comfortable chair. It is now available also with the new Plus saddle leather and with a hand-shaded effect on natural basis
