Made of solid hand-turned and finished wood, with the seat and backrest in cowhide, the Luchino armchair – available in both dining and lounge versions – features refined joints that enable easy folding and transport.
Deceptively simple at first glance, the Luchino armchair reveals exquisite wood craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail in the small metal components that regulate its folding mechanism.

| Structure The archetypical folding chair, Carlotta was reinterpreted in a contemporary vein with a light hand and a pitch-perfect marriage of sophisticated materials, like metal and cowhide. The joint screws, clearly visible on the metal structure, emphasize the austere, unornamented design that sets this armchair apart. It comes in an array of finshings. The seat, seat back and arm rests are upholstered in cowhide, in all the colors available in the Flexform collection palette. The Carlotta small armchair can be paired with its namesake folding footstool. |

The Cestone sofa was designed to be placed at the center of the living room. In the spotlight are the sofa’s back and sides, parts that cannot usually be counted on to bring added value. Instead, the back and sides of the Cestone sofa are made from metal frames upholstered with woven strips of cowhide. The strips are in two different widths, and two options are available for the irregular woven pattern. The cowhide strips can be closely woven, forming a compact surface; or more loosely woven, allowing the underlying upholstery fabric to show through. The resulting ‘checkerboard’ pattern makes a strong visual statement in aesthetically-pleasing contrast to the soft, perfectly-proportioned upholstered parts. The Cestone sofa can be paired with its eponymous coffee tables with wood top in a selection of stain finishes that create a delightful textural contrast with the warmth of the cowhide.

The visually-light but solid wood structure, available in various shades, isplays the kind of workmanship that clearly expresses the company’s flair for embracing the heritage of Italian cabinetmaking tradition as its own. As unique as it is sophisticated, the seat back is entirely hand-woven in a design made from cowhide cord; the seat back is rendered even more comfortable with the addition of a soft, goose-down-filled cushion. The seat is made of polyurethane foam, covered in a laminated fabric and the upholstery – in fabric or leather – is removable.

The wood and metal structure is padded with polyurethane foam that is then covered with a protective laminated fabric. The Doralice armchair is upholstered with a soft, lightweight slipcover, which can be easily removed and replaced.

The traditional Scandinavian school meets Mediterranean style; rustic and urban styles cross paths. The design of memory is, in any case, living in the present and projected into the future.
The sleek metal structure contrasts with the pliable seat and backrest made of fine woven paper cord or paper rush cord. This seemingly simple process is actually quite complex and still today performed entirely by hand.
A different stylistic interpretation is expressed by the Echoes S.H. armchair that pairs the metal structure with cowhide: a classic, eye-catching combination but one that, thanks to the ergonomic contours of the seat and backrest, also ensures the utmost in comfort.
